Mediation
Supporting and encouraging the effective resolution of disputes and reaching agreements
Mediation is a recognised, time and cost-efficient process for resolving conflicts. The success of mediation is based on coming to the table with a view to reaching a goal and is proven in the result achieved.
As trained mediators with years of experience and training, we work with the parties to create the necessary foundation for the discussion and support parties to find an achievable, legally binding and unambiguous outcome.
Our mediation services focus on the following areas:
Aim of mediation
For us, the aim of mediation is to overcome a conflict situation and reach an agreement which is achievable, unambiguous and created by the parties.
The quality of mediation is measured by its time-efficiency and its feasible and sustainable outcome.
Commercial mediation
Commercial mediation is an umbrella term covering mediation in everyday commercial situations, e.g. between companies and contract partners (like suppliers or customers), between quarrelling shareholders and administrative boards or even internal company conflicts (among employees).
Many of these conflicts can be solved faster and more favourably with mediation than with a lengthy legal process.
Labour
Mediation is good for resolving labour conflicts and internal company conflicts between employers and employees or even between employees.
Succession planning
Succession planning often involves various aspects which can lead to conflicts and which can be resolved through mediation.
Inheritance law
Disputes over inheritance can be very emotional for heirs and can drag on for a long time. Mediation might therefore be one way of finding an amicable solution for the heirs.
Divorce/Separation
During a divorce or separation, mediation can identify amicable solutions with the parties, e.g. concerning residence, maintenance, separation of property, which can be submitted to the court in a joint divorce application.
Condominium
Mediation is also an alternative way of resolving conflicts between condominium owners and/or building management.
Associations
Mediation is also an alternative way of resolving conflicts in associations, e.g. between the board and association members.
